The full NordVPN software is not required and this makes the VPN simpler and faster. I am in the UK, so it connected to a UK VPN server, but if you are in the US, it will connect to a US server. For everyone else, get a web browser with a built in VPN.Ī VPN is software that encrypts the internet connection and makes it more secure and safer to use in some circumstances. If you have NordVPN, and a lot of people do, there is a clever Chrome extension that saves you having to run the VPN software.
